11th Annual Golf Tournament Success!
Our 11th annual benefit golf tournament was a fantastic success, the best ever. This time, it went off without a flaw and everyone I spoke with had a great time. There were so many prizes some people had to make get help carrying it all! And we’re not talking just Vienna sausage (although there was plenty of that) – two trips to Las Vegas, an HD TV and a cordless hedge trimmer, just to name a few. And the food – the Marriott went over the top for our golfers. I mean coc au vin for a golf tournament?! Wow. Hard to believe we were slumming it on hot dogs and hamburgers in the early years. But, like everything else, we try to get better and better about every aspect of our tournament each year. About the only thing that wasn’t perfect was that nobody won a new car from King Auto Center with a hole in one.

The tournament sold out this year, as it always does, and it’s going to sell out next year, you can bet on that. It’s really sad to turn people away, but everyone knows the early bird gets the coc au vin, right?! Remember, the tournament is always the third Sunday in July so be alert for the first word about the tournament and call right away!
